The editorial board of the Scientific and Technical Journal “Technogenic and Ecological Safety” pays particular attention to compliance with the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics at all stages of the editorial and publishing process.
The journal does not tolerate plagiarism in any form, self-plagiarism without proper reference, fabrication or falsification of data, manipulative citation, duplicate submission or duplicate publication, improper attribution of authorship, falsification of illustrative materials, tables, graphs, or other elements of scholarly work.
By submitting an article to the journal, authors confirm that the manuscript is an original result of their scientific work, has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another publication, that all borrowings are properly cited, and that the research results are reliable and presented without deliberate distortion.
Authors are required to provide complete and accurate information about themselves, their affiliation, sources of research funding, as well as the presence or absence of any conflict of interest. All persons who have made a substantial contribution to the preparation of the article must be listed as authors, while persons whose contribution does not meet the criteria for authorship may be acknowledged in the acknowledgements section with their consent.
Reviewers are required to evaluate manuscripts objectively, conscientiously, confidentially, and impartially, to avoid offensive statements, and to promptly inform the editorial board of any identified signs of academic misconduct or conflicts of interest.
The editorial board undertakes to ensure impartial consideration of manuscripts, to make decisions solely on the basis of the scientific quality of the material, to prevent discrimination against authors, and to respond in a timely manner to substantiated reports of violations of publication ethics.
In the event that signs of academic misconduct are identified, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the manuscript, initiate an additional review, request explanations from the author, or take other editorial measures depending on the nature of the identified circumstances.
