The Editorial Board of the scientific and technical journal “Technogenic and Ecological Safety” proceeds from the necessity of strict compliance with ethical standards in conducting and publishing scientific research involving humans, animals or their biological materials, as well as the use of personal or confidential data.
If ethical approval is mandatory for the relevant type of research, the author must indicate in the article itself that such approval has been obtained. In this case, the name of the body that issued the approval, as well as the number and date of the relevant document, must be provided.
Submission of a manuscript to the journal means that the author confirms compliance with the requirements for the protection of human rights, humane treatment of animals, proper use of biological materials, and the lawful processing of personal and confidential data.
If the research requires mandatory ethical approval, but the author has not provided the relevant information in the article itself or is unable to confirm it at the request of the Editorial Board, the Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse consideration of the manuscript, suspend the editorial process, or reject the article without sending it for peer review.
